EWaste Prime was engaged by a major Dhaka-based corporate group to manage the certified decommissioning of over 3,200 desktop computers and laptops across 14 branch offices during a full IT infrastructure refresh. Every asset was serialised, inventoried, and tracked from collection through final Certificate of Destruction issuance.
Data-bearing devices were processed using NIST 800-88 Purge and Destroy methods. High-security storage media were physically shredded on-site at client facilities, with witnessed destruction available for sensitive departments. All 3,200 assets were processed within a six-week operational window with zero data breach incidents.
Functional devices — approximately 35% of total volume — were professionally refurbished and redistributed through EWaste Prime's circular economy programme, generating value recovery credits that offset a portion of the client's disposal costs. Remaining assets were processed through certified R2v3 recycling channels, with full Basel Convention-compliant documentation provided.
The client received a consolidated ESG impact report detailing CO2 savings, material recovery volumes, and chain-of-custody documentation suitable for ISO 27001 audit submission.
