The most sustainable electronic device is one that never becomes waste. EWaste Prime's circular economy program maximises the useful life of every device we receive — recovering value, reducing demand for new electronics, and keeping functional equipment in productive use across Bangladesh.
UN SDG Alignment: SDG 12 Target 12.5 — By 2030, substantially reduce waste generation through prevention, reduction, recycling and reuse.
The UN SDG Extended Report 2025 confirms that e-waste worldwide contained an estimated 31 billion kilograms of metals in 2022, with 4 billion kilograms classified as critical raw materials. USD 28 billion in material value was recovered — but 12 billion kilograms of metals were lost. EWaste Prime is committed to recovering this value within Bangladesh.
Our Circular Economy Process:
Assessment: Every device undergoes a functional assessment. Recovery-potential devices are separated from those requiring physical recycling.
Refurbishment: Functional devices are cleaned, tested, repaired, and restored. Data is fully erased before any refurbishment begins.
Certification: Refurbished devices are tested against performance benchmarks and issued a condition certificate.
Resale: Certified refurbished electronics are made available through EWaste Prime's online store at significantly below-market prices.
For organisations submitting devices, refurbishment generates value recovery credits that can offset your disposal costs.
